Ali Golds
Ali is an award-winning social entrepreneur, highly experienced in starting, developing and running successful projects that support vulnerable, marginalised, and neuro-diverse groups of people. Her own charity has helped over 1000 teenage girls to deal with trauma, and stay in school.
She has a background in education, training and start-ups and has consulted for a wide range of organisations including further education colleges, charities, international awarding bodies, and the British government.
Ali has also delivered motivational talks about overcoming life challenges to online audiences of 20 through to football stadiums of 30,000.
Lived Experience
Ali is neurodiverse, and was diagnosed with CPTSD in adulthood. She is domestic abuse survivor, spending time in a women’s refuge and, additionally, has first-hand experience of mental health challenges.
MARKETING, ADMINISTRATION
Kirsty Potter
Kirsty has been working in Design and Communications roles for nearly 10 years, with a BA in Communication Design; creating graphic design, marketing, social media and web content for multiple mental health, social care, and disability support charities to help diversify their brands and content.
Kirsty is passionate about creating and bringing to life inclusive and thought-provoking communications tools and platforms that aim to empower people while emphasising their skills without minimising their struggles. This aligns perfectly with CAPITAL Impact Solutions’ (and CAPITAL’s) mission and ethos.
Lived Experience
Kirsty believes lived experience should be at the heart of all support services and chairs a coproduced Communications panel which is set up to inform mental health services from a lived experience perspective, also with living/lived experience herself.
